Mabashi is a Bount loyal to Jin Kariya and one of the anime-original antagonists of the Bount arc. Wielding a possessing Doll named Ritz, he is a cruel, self-worshiping fighter who prefers to make others do his killing for him.
Mabashi is a lean, fair-skinned man of average height whose orange hair is styled in a lopsided way: shaved close on the left with two triangular gaps cut into the scalp, and grown out long on the right into ragged bangs of varying length that spill across his face and hide his right eye. Thin, upward-curving brows sit above narrow gray eyes, and his tongue, which is pierced, is unusually long. A red buckled choker at his throat holds the dormant form of his Doll, Ritz. He wears a zipped, sleeveless blue-gray shirt with dark shoulders and a high collar, a gray band on his left arm, twin red belts with gold buckles at the waist, matching blue-gray shorts striped in black, and black boots.
Vain and self-absorbed, Mabashi alone among the Bount resisted breaking their tribe's ban on devouring living Human Souls, less from principle than from dread of the rapid aging it brings, which he could see written on Sawatari. Once Kariya forced the Bitto serum down his throat, that restraint fell away, leaving him giddy with power and openly proclaiming himself an all-knowing god. The inflated confidence made him badly overrate himself, so much that Maki Ichinose had to pull him out of a losing fight, and it ultimately doomed him against Suì-Fēng. He is plainly sadistic, relishing the deaths of Hō and Ban and delighting in turning captives' friends against them. His whole method of fighting reflects this: he lets Ritz seize a body and forces its owner to attack while he stands back and jeers, untroubled by a host dying since another can always be found.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
Because Mabashi belongs entirely to the anime's Bount arc, his story falls outside the manga's canon. He answers Kariya's call to the Bount Mansion, mocks the news of Hō and Ban's deaths, and later flees the burning mansion for his clan's old caves, where Kariya force-feeds him the Bitto serum. Newly empowered, he slips away to interrupt Yoshi's fight, drives her off, and possesses Rukia Kuchiki through Ritz to make her attack Orihime Inoue and Shūhei Hisagi, until Orihime frees her and Ichinose drags him back. After the Bount invade Soul Society, Mabashi sows chaos across the Seireitei, using Ritz to split into copies and hijack scores of Shinigami and Keigun so they turn on their allies. He poisons Suì-Fēng with a rotted Soul carried by a Bitto and fights her while she is weakened, trading blows evenly for a time. His Doll, Ritz, a small mouse-like creature wrapped in a flower, seizes victims by burrowing into their chests and can channel all of their powers. When Suì-Fēng strikes him a second time with Suzumebachi's Nigeki Kessatsu, the fatally poisoned Mabashi loses his grip on Ritz, who turns against him, and he screams in terror as he crumbles to ash.
Sui-Feng killed Mabashi. After poisoning him with Suzumebachi's Nigeki Kessatsu a second time, the fatally wounded Mabashi lost his grip on his Doll, Ritz, and crumbled to ash.
