Mr. Pork

In his flesh-and-blood shape, the man behind the toy reads as a heavyset gangster past his prime. A pair of broad, thick-framed glasses sits over his face, and a thin mustache marks his lip beneath a crop of dark, short hair. He favors loud clothing, pairing a floral-print shirt with pale slacks, and keeps a wristwatch strapped to his left arm.

Bottled up inside the plush, however, he takes on a swine-faced puppet body. Rows of vertical seams run the length of his stuffed torso, crossed by three heavier horizontal bands, each capped with an oversized button. Short, rounded limbs finish the look, closer to a child's teddy bear than anything menacing.

Cornered by a deadline that will fossilize him in stuffing, the captive turns pushy and combative, barking at Ichigo Kurosaki to quit fleeing and trade blows. His temper is matched by a mercenary streak: once released, he immediately tries to squeeze payment out of Riruka Dokugamine for the ordeal. That bravado collapses the moment she flashes her own power, and he switches to nervous apologies, agreeing to answer her call whenever she summons him.

His ordeal begins when Ichigo drops into the miniature house and the pig-toy charges at him, insisting on a real fight. Riruka explains that an elderly Yakuza man she abducted is bound inside the plaything, and the captive adds a grim wrinkle: unless he kills Ichigo inside fifteen minutes, he is stuck as a doll for good. When that window closes he snaps into a feral 'Wild Beast Mode,' his body swelling broader and more muscular while three extra eyes open across his face.

Giriko Kutsuzawa's timer stacks a second rule on top, threatening to incinerate both combatants if no victor emerges. Ichigo scores an early hit by hurling a button at one of the beast's eyes, then hides, but the toy punches straight through the interior walls to find him. The fight turns once Ichigo works out how to channel his Substitute Shinigami badge as a Fullbring, blocking a punch and loosing a black, wheel-shaped blast into the creature's head to fell it. Riruka's sneeze then ejects both fighters and restores the man to human shape, ending the trial.
