Power of the Substitute Badge, Ichigo's "Pride"!

Back at the Xcution hideout after another late night, Ichigo Kurosaki is confronted by Riruka Dokugamine and her Dollhouse Fullbring, which shrinks him and seals him inside a toy house to fight a teddy called Mr. Pork. Riruka explains that her ability springs from her love of many cute things, unlike Kūgo Ginjō, whose power flows solely through the pendant he treasures. She offers no useful hints, insisting Ichigo simply defeat the plushie, which is possessed by a frightened man she captured. When fifteen minutes pass without Fullbring, Mr. Pork twists into a monstrous Mad Beast Mode.

Giriko Kutsuzawa reveals his own power, Time Tells No Lies, has bound the box under a strict contract: pulling Ichigo out early would burn everything trapped inside with the Flames of Time, and not even Giriko can undo the terms once set. Sado arrives, urging Ichigo to channel his Fullbring through the Substitute Shinigami Badge, and Ichigo realizes he had reached the same idea. Sado explains that his own power grew from the pride he takes in his skin, a pride his grandfather instilled, and tells Ichigo to remember when he was proud of his Shinigami powers. As Ichigo recalls that entire journey, the badge floods with crimson Reiatsu and forms a black shape mirroring the guard of his old Tensa Zangetsu.

Riruka traps Ichigo inside her Dollhouse to fight Mr. Pork as Fullbring training. Giriko's Time Tells No Lies contract prevents any early rescue. Sado directs Ichigo to draw out his Fullbring through the Substitute Shinigami Badge and shares the origin of his own power. Ichigo's badge finally manifests, emitting dark red Reiatsu shaped like his former Bankai's guard.

Episode 348 adapts chapters 434 through 436 during the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc, opening with Harukaze and closing with Re:pray. Ichigo's recollection sequence revisits landmark moments from Rukia through Aizen in flashback. A Quincy Encyclopedia segment follows Ryūken personally tending to a hospitalized Uryū.
