Respira, meaning Breath of Death, is the signature power of the Arrancar king Baraggan Louisenbairn once he assumes his released form. It exhales a creeping fog of pure aging that withers and decays whatever it reaches, embodying his belief that all things must eventually crumble.
Baraggan Louisenbairn commands Respira only while wearing his Resurrección, Arrogante. Its dual names, borrowed from Spanish and Japanese, both circle the same grim idea of a breath that carries death. In practice the ability is the physical expression of his dominion over time itself.
When invoked, a dark, purple-tinged haze billows out from Baraggan in every direction, and anything caught within it instantly withers, ages, and rots away. The mist travels quickly enough that it overtook the second company's captain Suì-Fēng even as she fled at the peak of her flash-step speed, reducing the flesh of one arm to bare bone; the decay refused to stop until the limb was severed entirely. Baraggan can dial the cloud's pace and ferocity to suit him, drifting a gentle version after Marechiyo Ōmaeda yet loosing a far swifter, more violent surge that erased whole buildings once he was provoked. Because created things are destined to perish like their makers, the fog even eats through Kidō, as it did when he dissolved a binding cage. His own skeletal frame normally resists the effect, but that immunity fails the instant the miasma is forced inside his body, such as through teleportation.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
Respira, meaning Breath of Death, is the signature power of the Arrancar king Baraggan Louisenbairn once he assumes his Resurreccion, Arrogante. It releases a dark, purple tinged fog of pure aging that withers and decays anything it touches.
Respira takes its name from the Spanish word for breathe and the Japanese meaning Breath of Death, both pointing to the same idea of a breath that carries death.
Baraggan Louisenbairn uses Respira to age and decay anything caught in its fog, dissolving flesh, bone, and even Kido, reflecting his belief that all things are destined to perish.
Baraggan's own skeletal body normally resists Respira's decay, but that immunity fails if the fog is forced directly inside him, such as through teleportation.
Baraggan unleashed Respira against Soul Reaper captains including Sui-Feng during the battle above the false Karakura Town, where the fog overtook her mid flash step and withered one of her arms to bone.
