Sayori Amagake

About as small as Rurichiyo herself, Sayori has blue eyes and long brown hair worked into elaborate patterns, with a short fringe falling over her brow. Perched on top is a little lavender headband bearing a gold, ribbon-shaped ornament, and she wears a long, richly decorated indigo kimono.

Around servants, Sayori keeps up the reserved poise expected of the nobility. That formality falls away the instant she is alone with friends, and she turns warm, bright, and openly affectionate.

Sayori hosts a tea party at her family estate and personally greets Rurichiyo Kasumioji at the gate before dismissing her attendants and embracing her friend with delight. Four other noble girls are already waiting, and Rurichiyo shares a special handshake with her host as a sign of their closeness. The gathering is thrown into chaos when Ichigo Kurosaki suddenly appears, branded a thief on the Kasumioji's word; Rurichiyo pretends not to know him so he can slip away. Afterward Sayori confides that this is her last such party, since an arranged marriage settled at her birth will soon carry her into a strict household. She insists she accepts it as her fate, yet breaks into tears she cannot explain, and watches quietly as Rurichiyo leaves.
