Yui Toyokawa is an anime-only Plus, a shy young girl killed in a Karakura Town car crash. Reunited with her brother Shōta as a wandering soul, she is exploited by a cloning Arrancar whose power warps her into a weapon before she is finally set free.
Yui is a young girl with brown eyes and matching brown hair, which she keeps gathered into two ponytails held by yellow bands. A pink dress paired with red shoes completes her outfit.
Timid by nature, Yui rarely opens up to anyone beyond her brother. She loves playing the ocarina and has a real gift for it, even if Shōta needles her by claiming that all he ever hears are wrong notes.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
On the way to an amusement park, Yui and her family were killed when their car struck a truck head-on. She and her brother Shōta awoke as Pluses and set out to find their parents. One night Yui slipped away on her own and was set upon by a Hollow; her frightened brother fled at first, and by the time he found his courage and returned, she had vanished.
Yui is later found asleep in the park by Shōta and the Shinigami Rangiku Matsumoto and Tōshirō Hitsugaya. Every attempt to perform Konsō on her fails, and suspicion grows that she is no ordinary soul. Her spiritual pressure proves extraordinary, potent enough to transform a common Hollow into an Arrancar, and it emerges that she has fallen under the sway of a cloning Arrancar. When she unleashes her power, it spawns copies of the enemy and eventually draws her back inside the original, revealing her to be one of its clones. In the end the sound of her ocarina leads the group to the Arrancar's hidden dimension, where Shōta and Rangiku strike the decisive blow, which purifies both the creature and Yui's soul at once.
