In the 156th episode, a battered Uryu finds himself saddled with the bumbling Pesche Guatiche against the Arrancar Cirucci Sanderwicci. Comedy and combat blur as Pesche's slippery trick briefly turns the tide, until Cirucci releases her Resurreccion and forces Uryu to reach for a weapon he had hoped to keep hidden.
Injured and cornered by Cirucci Sanderwicci, Uryu draws unwanted backup when Pesche creeps into the chamber, having privately ranked Ichigo's companions and slotted Uryu dead last in strength. Cirucci's bladed disc nearly flattens the newcomer, and what follows is a string of bickering: Pesche decides Uryu must have feelings for him because he remembered his name, the two squabble over their shared taste for white clothing, and Pesche insists he is a stag beetle rather than a termite. Trembling but determined to repay Uryu, Pesche unveils his secret: a fluid he can spit that coats surfaces in slickness. His Infinite Slick bounces the disc harmlessly away, and after he glazes every pillar around Cirucci, she slips, cracks her head, and tumbles to the ground.
Enraged and no longer amused, Cirucci activates her Resurreccion, Golondrina, sprouting wings, a tail, and elongated limbs while announcing herself as Arrancar number 105. Her Ala Cortadola shears through the pillars as Uryu and Pesche scramble, and when Uryu fires his Heilig Pfeil, the vibrating blade feathers on her wings simply deflect them. The pair's teamwork frays further when Pesche's supposedly endless slick runs dry, exposing the technique's name as an exaggeration. To free his hands, Uryu flings Pesche off a pillar and pins him upside down through the loincloth with an arrow.
Cirucci escalates to Ala Cortadola Dispersion, launching the blade feathers themselves, but Uryu evades each volley with Hirenkyaku and notes that the feathers keep vibrating even in flight, letting her instantly reload them into her wing. Realizing ordinary arrows will not do, Uryu draws a Seele Schneider from a pouch, activates it, and slices cleanly through the incoming blades. Holding the humming weapon like a sword, he invites Cirucci to resume their duel.
Pesche's Infinite Slick catches Cirucci off guard and drops her, provoking her to release Golondrina. Her vibrating blade feathers neutralize Uryu's arrows and can be fired and reloaded at will through Ala Cortadola Dispersion. With Pesche pinned safely aside, Uryu reveals the bladed Seele Schneider, cuts the feathers apart, and challenges Cirucci to continue.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
The episode adapts pages from Chapter 256 through Chapter 257 and expands heavily on the Uryu and Pesche comedy, adding gags such as the pair debating their white outfits and Pesche protesting when an arrow passes through his loincloth. Several manga beats were reordered or trimmed, including Cirucci ambushing Uryu from behind while he analyzes her feathers. The Arrancar Encyclopedia segment has Gin introduce Aaroniero Arruruerie, the sole Gillian among the Espada, who absorbs the powers of consumed Hollows through Glotoneria; the creature's two heads, Aaro and Niero, then insist that Aaroniero is not a group name.
