Sortie Orders! Suppress the House of Kasumiōji

Yamamoto declares the noble Kasumiōji house guilty of secretly forging illegal weapons and orders the Gotei 13 to move against it. The decision enrages Gyōkaku Kumoi, who unleashes assassins armed with Bakkōtō, drawing Rangiku, Rukia, Hisagi, and others into open combat across the divisions. Byakuya's word ends the duel between Hitsugaya and Amagai, and the captains, among them Suì-Fēng, Ukitake, and Kyōraku, breach the manor's barrier and pour inside.

Ichigo and Shū push through the estate as Rukia frees Rurichiyo's captured attendants and learns where the princess was taken. Cornered, Kumoi murders his own vassals and tries to use Rurichiyo as a hostage, only for Ichigo to intervene. The confrontation is upended when Amagai suddenly appears, cuts Kumoi down, harvests something from his Bakkōtō, and abducts Rurichiyo, revealing that the captain was entangled in the scheme all along before presenting himself to Yamamoto.

Yamamoto orders the Gotei 13 to suppress the Kasumiōji Clan for producing illegal Bakkōtō weapons. Kumoi retaliates with Bakkōtō-wielding assassins, sparking battles across the Seireitei. Ichigo reaches Rurichiyo as the captains storm the manor. Captain Shūsuke Amagai abruptly kills Kumoi, abducts Rurichiyo, and is revealed to have been part of the conspiracy, then approaches Captain-Commander Yamamoto.

This anime-only episode belongs to the New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc and adapts no chapters. Its picture-book short finds a baffled Renji roped into a Tea Ceremony Club meeting, where Yachiru barges in and downs a whole jug of tea. Released blades on display include Haineko, Hōzukimaru, Fuji Kujaku, Raika, and Zangetsu, alongside the Kidō Sōkatsui and the forbidden Bakkōtō.
