The Full Showdown! Shinigami vs. Espada

Furious at losing four of his Fraccion, Baraggan nearly acts himself but is talked down by Ggio Vega, who wants the remaining Shinigami left to him. Overhearing this, Sui-Feng and her lieutenant Omaeda rush the pair and she throws Ggio's boast back at him. Elsewhere, Hitsugaya and Rangiku close on Tier Harribel and her three subordinates, while Ukitake and Kyoraku confront Lilynette and Coyote Starrk. Kyoraku asks Starrk to send the child away so he can fight seriously, and Starrk suggests both sides simply pretend to fight, an offer Kyoraku declines.

Harribel warns her Fraccion not to underestimate the captain-level newcomers and orders full strength from the outset. Rangiku takes on Apacci, Mila Rose, and Sung-Sun so Hitsugaya can engage Harribel directly. On Yamamoto's command, every fight erupts. Rangiku releases Haineko and snares the trio with her ash technique, but they blast free with a combined Cero and mock her. Omaeda is overpowered by Nirgge's brute strength, and Ggio needles Sui-Feng over abandoning her lieutenant, only for her to insist a superior should keep her distance from subordinates.

When Ggio kicks at her face, Sui-Feng ducks, hooks his leg, and slams him into a building, then pins him with a binding spell. With her opponent immobilized, she releases her Zanpakuto, Suzumebachi, ready to end the exchange.

Yamamoto orders all captains to attack, launching simultaneous duels across the battlefield. Rangiku traps Harribel's Fraccion with Neko Rinbu, but they escape via a joint Cero. Sui-Feng pins Ggio Vega with Shitotsu Sansen and releases Suzumebachi. Kyoraku and Ukitake begin their fight with Starrk rather than stage a fake one.

The episode adapts part of chapter 328 through chapter 330 within the Fake Karakura Town arc. Its companion Zanpakuto Introductions segment has Ichigo present Byakuya's Senbonzakura, only for Byakuya to attack him after he jokes that gripping the hilt during release looks silly.
