Key Events

In the present, Gin thrusts his hand into the cavity in Aizen's body and rips the Hogyoku loose an instant before a blow hurls him back. Certain that everything is over, he cradles the orb in his wounded arm, only for a pillar of light to erupt where Aizen fell. Aizen strides out whole once more, clad in an angelic form, smiling as he declares the Hogyoku still his even outside his flesh.

Notes

As the orb blazes in his grip, Gin recalls Aizen handing the stone back to those same reapers years earlier, and the day he found Rangiku with that trio close by, which cemented his conviction that Aizen led them and was his true target. Before he can act on the thought, Aizen carves a deep gash across him with one stroke. Episode 307 adapts the chapter.
