Innocent Onazi

A young Nigerian, Onazi ties his hair up into a pair of manbuns. His Nigeria U-20 strip is rounded off by white wristbands and a brow band stitched with the tag ONZ.

Self-belief bordering on cockiness runs through Onazi, who is well aware that his team leans on him to deliver. Even so, he genuinely respects a strong opponent, tipping his hat to their quality even when it spells trouble for his own side. Orphaned young, he grew up in a children's home, and the foster brothers he found there mean the world to him, bound as they all are by shared hardship.

As a forward, Onazi is built to score, the reference point his team funnels its attack through. A generational talent out of Africa, he has already lifted the African Cup with Nigeria, so his baseline technique is that of a seasoned professional.

His athleticism is the core of the threat. Explosive agility lets him trap and strike balls out of the air in one fluid motion, a knack that carried him past Jyubei Aryu and Oliver Aiku and let him rise to meet Rin Itoshi's curling effort. That same spring powers his mid-air shot, which effectively doubles the zone from which he can finish. Freakish stamina, born of an outsized heart and lungs, fuels what the story calls unlimited mobility: he roams the whole pitch at will, joining the attack one moment and sprinting back to smother a counter the next.

He also unlocks Predator Eye, cast as the mirror image of Metavision. Rather than widening his view, he collapses it, narrowing his focus onto the keeper alone and waiting for a lapse to strike, which lets him finish from cramped angles. He reaches it late against Japan's U-20, only for Oliver Aiku to deflect the attempt onto the post. His Flow state surfaces as well, the total-immersion zone Ego preaches, first appearing when he improvised a last-second finish off a perfect Kuso pass, a shot Isagi would later adapt into his own side-shot volley.
