Junichi Wanima

Junichi stands a fair bit above average, with big dark eyes and hair that juts up in spikes. His brows are shaped like a crocodile, a nod to the reptile buried in his surname, and he is usually caught either scowling or smirking right beside his twin Keisuke.

Like his brother, Junichi looks down on nearly everyone and grants respect only to his fellow twin. He is the quiet half of the pair, leaning on grunts and expressions through the First Selection before proving he can actually talk later on. Neither Wanima shies from foul play; he signed on to Kuon's scheme and took repeated jabs at Chigiri both inside the program and back on their high school squad.

Junichi's trademark weapon, Eye Contact, works only when he lines up beside Keisuke. Reading each other's timing and staying tightly synced, the brothers manufacture combination plays that once cracked the supposedly untouchable Team V for an early goal and toppled Team X; since Junichi rarely speaks, Keisuke simply reads what he wants from a glance. The catch is that the tool belongs to the pair rather than to him alone, so the moment Blue Lock eliminated Keisuke, Junichi could no longer keep pace with the program's elite. His loss hardened his resolve to press on for both their sakes.
