Summary

Fresh off robbing Karasu, Isagi links with Nanase and Hiori to work the ball upfield. When Chigiri bears down on Hiori, teasing him as one of the Baby Blue Locks, Hiori fires back that Chigiri's absurd speed must be why Karasu favors him. Reading Shido's call for the ball, Hiori instead slips it toward Isagi, who is streaking into the gap Shido opened, but the pass is a fraction beyond his reach and Otoya hacks it clear.

Rin chases the loose ball even while Karasu clings to him, and from that tangle he curls a strike into the top-right corner to draw Team B level at four apiece. Karasu tips his cap to the finish, noting that Rin anchored his own body mid-shot to keep his balance true, and remarks that Team A looks reborn now that its slumping talent has come alive.

Key Events

Even as the side gels, Isagi seethes that he still cannot play the game he envisions. Hiori finds him and hears him vent that his body simply will not catch up to the pictures in his head. The advice is blunt: thinking first and moving second will always leave him a step late, so he should react on instinct and let himself sink into what Hiori calls a world of feeling.

At the restart Karasu takes possession, and when Rin harries him he releases to Otoya, the two knocking a one-two through midfield. Isagi teams with Rin to trap Karasu in a pincer, but Karasu mocks the ploy, having baited them so he could loft a pass to Chigiri. As Chigiri sets himself under the high ball, Shido lunges in with a raised boot to intercept.
