Summary

With Shido sprawled on the turf after cutting out a high ball, Nanase scoops up the rebound and rushes it to Isagi just ahead of Saramadara's challenge. As Isagi carries the ball forward with Hiori, he turns over the advice he was given about reacting on instinct rather than thought.

Hemmed in by Karasu, Rin demands the ball while Nanase closes in as another option, and the trio ping one-touch passes through the defense. When Isagi spots Hiori slicing in from the left with Chigiri on his heels, he sees the lanes open to Rin and Shido and understands at last that his own deliberation has been the anchor dragging him down.

Key Events

Letting go of calculation, Isagi hands himself over to every nerve and sense, moving on reflex alone. In that heightened state he threads between both Rin and Shido and finishes the winning goal for Team A. The strike settles a match that had been locked at four each and vaults his side in front for good.

From the stands Ego observes the whole sequence and puts a name to the total absorption Isagi has reached, calling it Flow. Fixing on the young striker's image, Ego remarks that Isagi has just brushed against the place where miracles are made.
