Chapter 77: All-Out

Rewatching Nagi's strike, Anri calls it a miracle, and Ego scolds her, insisting goals stem from measurable skill and that clearing the Second Selection demands a formula. On the field, Isagi savors the goal he built with Nagi and starts plotting Rin's downfall, valuing his teammates yet set on toppling Rin by himself, since only that will make him the world's finest striker. Rin steadies a nervous Tokimitsu and Aryu, promising to dominate, and an eager Bachira feeds him at the kickoff.

Rin advances the ball and crosses to Tokimitsu despite Baro's approach. Baro dismisses it as a poor pass, but Isagi spots the backspin that drops it right at Tokimitsu's feet, letting him hold off Baro and return it. Rin then slides a direct ball to Aryu, who tames it with a chest trap and, pressured by Chigiri, feeds Rin again. Nagi and Isagi converge to double press, unsure whether Rin will shoot or release to Bachira. A roulette carries Rin past Nagi, and just as Isagi commits to a slide tackle, Rin reveals he has already passed to Bachira, who finishes while picturing himself pulled along by strings. Bachira brands Rin a sadist running puppet master soccer, and Rin tells Isagi he is unreadable, casting everyone else as mere supporting players.

All-Out reads as Honki in Japanese and covers eighteen pages. It launched in Japan on March 18, 2020, and in English on December 21, 2021. Opening Volume 10 between Can't Go Back and Irregular, its events are dramatized in Episode 21. Bachira's finish restores Team Red's advantage.
