History

During the Falling Devil arc, Yoru floats the Moon Devil as a possible explanation for the surge of people hurling themselves from rooftops and for the eerie reversal of gravity that sent victims plunging upward into the sky. Both disturbances turn out to be the doing of the Falling Devil rather than this one. Apart from the powers common to all devils, little else has been put on record. Its strength springs from selenophobia, the irrational dread of the moon and its light, itself an offshoot of the broader fear of celestial bodies.
