Summary

Staring at the semen coating her hand in shock and revulsion, Yoru washes it off in a rain puddle as Denji slumps down. She warns him against reading too much into things, claiming the kiss simply felt nice. When Denji starts to ask why she kissed him, Yoru cuts in, repeats that it was only about the pleasant sensation, and snaps at him not to get cocky. Then, eyeing his lips, she kisses him again. Baffled, he asks whether she actually likes him. Yoru replies that she does not, only that the other part of her does, and that those feelings spilled over into her. Denji, left without words, watches her declare she is hungry and stride off, abandoning him alone in the alley.

Asa rushes at Yoru and shoves her head against a wall as the War Devil begs her to stop. Asked why she kissed Denji, Yoru says she sensed the two had kissed before and merely wanted to confirm it. She asks Asa whether it felt good, and Asa answers with a fist to her face. When Yoru wonders aloud why she would strike the man she supposedly loves, Asa reclaims her own body. She shouts that Denji surely thinks she is a slut now because of the War Devil, then, holding back tears, says she is too hungry to deal with any of it. Back aboard the train, Denji sits wedged between Fami and Haruka while Asa keeps to the far side of the carriage, and the group reaches Fami's pick, Sushishi.
