Summary

Driving Aki home, Kurose questions his plan to slay the Gun Devil, scoffing that an ordinary man could never matter. Aki concedes the aim is unrealistic but argues that only an unrealistic outlook lets him keep advancing. Kurose tosses him a cola and, though the attitude grates on him, pledges to back it.

Makima meets a yakuza boss who insists that while the Gun-Agents belong to his organization, he never sanctioned their deeds. He says Sawatari swayed the faction into striking small bargains with the Gun Devil, trading cash for weapons and ammunition. Makima asks for the names of every member, his own and his rivals', who ever contacted the Gun Devil. He refuses, warning that such betrayal would ignite gang war and invite foreign mafias, then mocks the hunters as uneducated fools to his men's laughter. Makima sets a small bag on the table and explains it holds the eyeballs of every relative of everyone present. As the boss stares in horror, she offers to return them in exchange for cooperation. A grunt swings at her and instantly drops, blood gushing from his face. Meanwhile, the bureau's Special forces ready themselves to breach the Gun-Agents' building. Inside, Sawatari and Katana Man reaffirm their goal to kill as many hunters as possible and seize Denji's heart, while Kishibe gives the order to storm in and a pack of zombies waits.
