The 32nd chapter of Chainsaw Man seals Aki's pact with the Future Devil, which gleefully promises him the worst possible death. Kishibe and Makima share a tense drink, and the Gun-Agents prepare a zombie army for the coming raid.
The Future Devil keeps chanting its catchphrase and wants Aki to echo it. When he states his wish to form a contract, the Devil grows annoyed and asks to read his future by pressing his head into its chest cavity. As Aki obeys, it dissolves into giggles and agrees, demanding only to dwell in his right eye. The ease of the terms shocks Aki, but the Devil taunts that it simply wants to witness his future firsthand, because he will die in the worst way imaginable. It offers to tell him how, he declines, and he seals the contract without flinching.
Denji and Power lie beaten on the floor as Kishibe notes their progress and shifts training to a weekly schedule. He tells them to stay alert and reveals the New 4th Division will hunt Sawatari and Katana Man, warning that failure means the division shuts down and he must kill them. Denji cheerfully says that in such a fight he would spare Kishibe out of gratitude for making him stronger and nearer to dating Makima. Later, Kishibe drinks with Makima, admitting he dislikes continuing the training because he is growing fond of his students. He presses her about foreknowledge of the attacks, saying he will overlook it as long as she stays on humanity's side. She claims she only wants to save people and raise the 4th Division's standing, and he flatly calls her a liar while she smiles. In an office, the Gun-Agents regroup to hide their leaders, though Sawatari calls hiding useless against Makima. Katana Man means to kill Denji personally, and Sawatari unveils their trump card, a horde of zombies left behind by the Zombie Devil.
Aki contracts the Future Devil, which lodges in his right eye and foretells his death in the worst way possible. Kishibe shifts training to weekly and tasks the New 4th Division with hunting the Gun-Agents. Kishibe accuses Makima of lying about her motives, and the Gun-Agents ready a zombie army.
