Key Events

Elsewhere the hunters Michiko, Yutaro and Subaru take a smoke break, and when Subaru asks why Denji cannot simply stay hidden in human form, he is told other devils can smell him. Driving to rendezvous with the main group, Subaru asks about Makima, and Tendo hesitates, hinting there is something concerning to raise about her. Before they can, road spikes are flung in their path; the car swerves and slams into a tree. Subaru wakes to see the three American brothers outside, who gun down all three hunters. The two older brothers crack jokes while Aldo recoils in horror. As they conceal the bodies and Aldo vomits, the eldest asks Joey how the killing felt, and Joey reports only faint annoyance and disgust. Laughing, the eldest reshapes his face into Kurose's, and the trio rehearse matching Kurose's voice and accent.
