Star Chainsaw

From the floor beneath Chainsaw Man, Barem fires into the ceiling and rips a massive explosion through the building. Chainsaw Man leaps clear onto another rooftop, where the Whip Hybrid lashes at him to little effect, before Reze tears through the structure, seizes him, and hauls him skyward.

Twisting in midair, Chainsaw Man decapitates Reze, only to be skewered by a spear the Spear Hybrid throws. Caught dazed in the air, he is set upon by Makima, who points and says 'Bang' again and again, each strike rocketing him higher until he is shoved out of the atmosphere and into space. Commenting that she means to suffocate him, Makima watches as Chainsaw Man reaches into his own chest, tears out his heart, and hurls it toward the ground.

The heart ignites as it re-enters the atmosphere, and his body knits itself back together around it until he is whole again. Still plummeting, Chainsaw Man flings chains across the city, snagging Makima, Barem, and the Whip and Spear hybrids. He hoists them into the air, and after a brief flash of shock, they are shredded by Pochita's chainsaws.

Barem's explosion and a coordinated hybrid assault drive Chainsaw Man onto the defensive, with Reze carrying him into the air. He beheads Reze, is impaled by the Spear Hybrid, and is then blasted into space by Makima's repeated attacks. To survive, Chainsaw Man tears out his own heart and regrows his body around it during re-entry, then chains and shreds Makima, Barem, and the Whip and Spear hybrids.

This nineteen-page chapter is part of Volume 10 and the Control Devil arc. The cast consists of Pochita, Barem Bridge, the Whip Hybrid, Reze, the Spear Hybrid and Makima.
