Summary

Surrounded by her human-Devil hybrids, Makima describes what they really are: neither humans nor Devils nor Fiends, but a separate kind of being the Chainsaw Devil once wiped away, yet who linger on regardless. Long ago, she says, the Chainsaw Devil vanished mid-battle against the Four Horsemen and the Weapon Devils within Hell, resurfacing on Earth as the near-dead Pochita, and her group has hunted him ever since. As Pochita yawns, she orders the attack.

Each agent draws a weapon, shifts into hybrid form, and charges. The moment they reach him, Chainsaw Man's forward leap blasts them back, and he tears through skyscrapers while slicing Quanxi and Miri Sugo apart. Landing inside an apartment block, he crouches over their ruined bodies clutching their severed heads. Katana Man strikes from behind and fails, beheaded without leaving a scratch. Makima looks on and coolly calls the battle unwinnable.
