Appearance

Standing at least 15 meters tall, Nom Nom Bongo cut a colossal figure crowned by a cartoonish face. True to what his name suggests, the giant was dressed in the garb of a pastry chef.

Personality

Built as a game piece rather than a thinking being, Nom Nom Bongo was set up to run a sweets-themed round of color tag. Each turn he would call out a particular candy, then come after every contestant on the National Border Hill course who happened not to be touching it.

History

In the Danmara Arc, Momo and Unji enter the National Border Hill course to retrieve the kintama that slipped from Unji's pants, and Nom Nom Bongo kicks off his candy color-tag game by naming chocolate. Since Momo alone is in contact with it, he turns his assault on Unji and the frog shikigami. Round after round, the three scramble across the obstacles hunting the chosen treat while trying to grab the kintama. As he wraps the game after a fourth round, the giant fails to notice Momo using her psychic grip on his rolling pin to haul herself close, and her Moe Moe Tri-Beam tears him apart, leaving Momo and Unji with the Nom Nom Bongo card. As a giant he wielded immense physical strength.
