Reiko Kashima, known too as the Slit-Mouthed Woman or Kuchisake-onna, is a yokai who once haunted a ruined stretch of Kamigoe City. Beaten by Momo, she swore vengeance, but after watching the girl's bond with Okarun she set that grudge aside and resolved instead to seek a partner of her own.
Reiko Kashima stands tall enough to loom over ordinary people, and her arms and legs are corded with muscle. The trait that earned her epithet is an enormously wide mouth packed with rows of sharp teeth. She lays on heavy makeup, mascara framing her round eyes and lipstick on that mouth, and paints her nails dark, while her very long jet-black hair is tied with a bow beneath a crown. Stripped of the makeup she looks startlingly human and, as Momo and Jiji note, genuinely beautiful, her features softening and her eyes gaining long lashes. Her clothing is a bow-tied collared dress worn with formal shoes. While hunting Momo her hair turned wild, her eyes became concentric rings, and her dress gained puffy sleeves and a larger gem-set bow; later, wearing less makeup, she shed the puffy sleeves and the crown. In life she was a young girl in a dress and hat, and by the time of her death her hair had been cut short and left tangled, her clothes in tatters, her legs reduced to bandaged stumps.
Vain and self-absorbed, Reiko Kashima fixates on her own reflection and prizes only hideous things, since they flatter her by comparison, trapping such things inside her mirror. She frees a captive solely when it blocks her reflection or, worse, defiles the mirror by acting cute. Call her ugly or steal her mirror and she flies into a frenzy. Convinced her makeup makes her lovely, she stays blind to her natural beauty, yet keeps a modest streak, scrambling to hide her underwear when a blow flips up her dress. She cannot stand the spell word 'pomade' and attacks on hearing it, and she is bitter and sadistic with enemies. Because she died in an air raid, the sight of falling bombs enrages her. After observing Momo and Okarun, she chose to chase love of her own.
In the Space Globalists Arc, Reiko Kashima meets Momo and Bamora in the ruins and asks if she looks pretty, then strikes when Momo shouts 'pomade'. Bamora's exosuit punches do nothing, so the yokai suplexes her and uses fists of mirror glass to pin Momo down. She traps Bamora to keep something ugly nearby, but Momo brands her ugly, snatches the mirror, and frees Bamora; the two then block her reflection and act cute, forcing their release, and Momo completes the 'pomade' spell using the exosuit's invisibility to banish her. Returning for revenge, she mimics Okarun's voice at the Ayase house and later possesses a manga cafe worker to find Momo.
She finally corners Momo just as the Kur's main force storms Empty Space. The falling bombs trigger memories of her own death, and in a rage she destroys the Kur flagship and traps every alien in her mirror to wipe them out. Watching Momo and Okarun shield each other then sparks a happy memory of a past love, so she spares Momo and slips away. Days later she greets Momo's group bare-faced and unrecognizable, denying she reached Nirvana, confessing she resents Momo's refusal to be honest about her feelings, and warning she will take Okarun if Momo keeps hiding them before leaving to search for a man.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
