Overview

Guarding Vlad of the Delacroix Family is this masked unit, which rises to become the foremost danger of the Six Curses Arc. Each knight tends to dress in a military cut marked by towering collars, embellished shoulder pieces, and an ascot tie. Masks keep their faces hidden, a few covering only the front while others taper into long pointed hoods that swallow the whole head. The commander forgoes the shared uniform for tailored clothing yet still sports the ascot tie as proof of loyalty. With their skin masks, odd haircuts, and hammers, the squad may take cues from the horror icon Leatherface.

Role

Long before the present, the knights set upon a local shaman somewhere unspecified, their motives never explained. Seiko sent an exorcist who arrived braced for a yokai, and since no one guessed the attackers were human, that exorcist came away badly hurt. Come the Six Curses Arc, the group ran Okarun to ground inside the Super Amusement Park. Because he carried the curse drawn from the Adventures of Pinocchio, they meant to seize the sixth Fairy-Tale Card power before Saint-Germain turned up.

One knight closed in while Okarun stood with Aira, then the others slid into view. Their leader gave the group's name, claimed their bond to Vlad, and ordered the pair to relinquish their powers. Aira refused outright and threw down a challenge, though the leader spelled out that only Turbo Granny's power inside Okarun mattered to them. Okarun swore he no longer held it; branded a liar, he faced the leader and a sea lion Power User squaring up for a brawl.
