Mechanics

Powers harvested into kozuka knives, which are linked to the sword Asura, can be channeled through the mechanism into whoever is fused with it. The knives are loaded into a dedicated slot unit that sits on a table beside a computer, triggering the transfer. Visually the apparatus is a massive ornate wheel ringed by a patterned outer frame, holding seven hexagonal cells that each frame a haloed Buddha figure perched on a lotus. Spokes reach inward from the rim, and tubes at the hub connect to Vlad's back as he sits enthroned atop a flight of stairs with his feet resting on a pair of sculpted palms.

Notable Users

Vlad is the individual bonded to the machine and the recipient of every transferred ability. Shinobi operates it on his behalf, having moved the powers Shinobi obtained from Momo Ayase and Unji Zuma over to Vlad. Later, during the Six Curses Arc, Red Baron returned carrying kozuka knives that held the powers of Rin and Koki, and Shinobi fed those into Vlad as well, prompting him to undergo a transformation.
