Where's Zuma?

Unji Zuma is nowhere to be found at his home, which sets Momo recalling Toriumi's earlier warning and fearing a parallel to the Evil Eye. A sudden scream draws her and Okarun's attention to a strange old man bolting in their direction. Mistaking him for a pervert, she pins him telekinetically and tells Okarun to phone the police, only for a gang hunting the man to arrive. She deflects a strike from a member, and Okarun shields her in his Turbo Granny shape, a transformation the delinquents identify with Unji. When she questions any link between them and Unji, the reply is a demand for the old man, who panics and refuses to be handed over.

She holds firm, refusing to surrender him until someone answers her, which earns a threat from one delinquent. He relents on a personal code against striking women and offers to escort the two to Unji, on the condition the old man comes along. Inside the gang's hideout, a diorama is presented, with the explanation that the old man must reenter it for Unji to emerge, just as the members surround the trio.

Hunting for Unji, the pair run into a sword-carrying, half-dressed man fleeing a pack of delinquents, and they shield him with their abilities. Once Okarun changes shape, the chasers blurt out Unji's name, prompting Momo to press them on whether they answer to him. Their leader guides everyone back to the hideout, insisting Unji sits trapped within a diorama, after which the group readies to shove the old man inside and trade him for Unji.

Belonging to Volume 16, this nineteen-page installment pushes the Danmara Arc forward inside the Kintama Hunt Saga and brings the cursed diorama central to the story into play. Its Japanese release fell on December 19, 2023.
