Jumping Granny and Kung Fu Alien

The duel between Okarun and the exosuit alien escalates as bittersweet and painful memories of her home planet flicker past. She assaults him from every direction, forcing him to fire his boosters and ram her head-on. Flipping open her mask, she bites his arm, and he answers with his pile bunkers mid-fall. When she lunges again, Okarun notices her face does not match the Kur race. A sharp kick drives his palm into the nanoskin, ruining its hardness just as Kinta had cautioned, and her charged-up kick then shatters his armor and flings him back.

Hase, who had been busy with Kinta, spots her killing intent and cuts in, claiming only he gets to beat Okarun. With his Jumping Crone powers he hurls her up and slams her down, pounding her with crushing leaps to keep her there. In the lull, Okarun tells Kinta he touched the nanosuit by accident, sparking Kinta's frustration. Seeing fusion as their last option, Kinta wraps Okarun in nanoskin, producing an odd robot from their clashing tastes, Okarun lugging Kinta on his shoulders. Kinta pilots better, but Okarun's battle reflexes and sharp eyes handle the dodging.

After tossing the dazed alien away and ordering her to keep clear, Hase is jumped by the merged pair. He slips their attack and feels mocked by their goofy mecha. The two trigger the verniers and barely parry him, but their Blast Wind Thrust Attack fails against his blinding speed. Furious, Hase orders Okarun to ditch the ridiculous robot and fight him directly, flinging the duo around and tearing them apart. Mid-struggle, Okarun realizes the merge is dragging them down and wrecking their equipment, leaving Kinta dumbfounded.

Flashbacks show the alien being brutalized by the Kur during her planet's invasion. She lifts her mask to bite Okarun, who realizes she is unlike the other Kur. Okarun accidentally touches the armor's nanoskin, canceling its steel hardness. After she destroys his armor, Hase steps in to pummel her, set on killing Okarun himself. Kinta fuses with Okarun via the nanoskin and they trade blows with Hase, though the merge looks more like a handicap.

Appearing April 8, 2025 in Volume 22 of the Ultimate Yokai Saga, this Kozuka Knives Arc chapter pushes the fight forward as Okarun and Kinta fuse through the nanoskin, while flashbacks expose the alien's suffering at the hands of the Kur. Big Mama and the alien's lover appear in flashback.
