Summary

Behind the school, Okarun trains alone to be ready the next time a paranormal threat targets him and Momo. Aira surprises him there, having come to confess by kissing him; he jerks back in shock and asks why she thought that was acceptable, and she explains she copied the move from one of her father's books. As the romantically clueless Aira tries again to voice her feelings, Okarun fends her off and accidentally topples onto her. To his horror, Momo arrives and reads the scene the wrong way. Disappointed, she walks off, and when Okarun chases her to explain, she refuses to hear him out, still stung that he lied about a report, and returns to class.

Key Events

During lessons Momo cannot shake what she saw, while Okarun hopes to mend things. He is then startled to find his classroom flooded with water and eerily empty. Out in the corridor he runs into Aira, who assumes Momo conjured the strange setting, but Okarun recognizes it as a place he has been before. Momo, meanwhile, cannot force the windows open to escape and wonders if Okarun is trapped too, quickly growing annoyed at the thought of him. She then hears something approaching and turns to see a snake-like creature, Nessie, gliding toward her in the distance.
