Summary

Momo is too drained to eat, her emotions wrung out by Reiko Kashima the previous night, and Seiko explains that the Slit-Mouthed Woman peers into hearts through mirrors. Rather than help Bamora with her chopsticks, Momo has Turbo Granny examine the orb in the kaiju suit to test whether it is one of Okarun's kintama. The spirit recoils, calling it something like human karma and telling Momo to stow it away, which leaves Momo puzzled that an alien would carry such a thing. On the walk to school, Momo keeps Bamora away from Okarun and, exhausted, lashes out at him for never visiting the night before.

Key Events

In class, Okarun coaches Bamora on thanking people and earns praise from classmates. The group gathers behind the school, where Momo lets Kinta join provided he drops the crude jokes, then kicks him out when he does not, while Jiji puts his fresh ki skills on display behind the school building. After classes, Momo sends Okarun to walk Bamora home before her shift, and Aira is stunned to learn Momo works at a maid cafe.

Without warning, the trio of Jiji, Aira, and Okarun is yanked into Empty Space. Aira and Jiji are cornered by three powerful aliens, Suda Ko, Takonoka Ru Patcho, and Ta Komeshi, while Okarun is ambushed by Hastur and his crew.
