Can Never Sleep at a Manga Cafe

Sheltering inside the manga cafe, Momo tells Rokuro to stay silent and keep the makeup on so they avoid drawing notice. Through a small mirror, Reiko Kashima possesses a grooming cafe employee and sends him hunting for Momo under the delusion that he is lovestruck. When the worker passes out, Rokuro extends a cable device from his chest aimed at the sleeping Momo, but retracts it as the man's knock wakes her. The possessed employee claims a form needs refilling and tries to force his way in after hearing two voices.

Momo quickly resumes her disguise inside Rokuro's costume. Using a confession of love as a pretext, the employee peers up the skirt to check for her, then grows suspicious of two layered shirts and lifts the top one. Spotting the mirror on him, Momo coils her bandages around it to cover it, canceling the possession exactly as Seiko taught, since a yokai's hold breaks when its mirror is concealed. The freed employee leaves to apologize. Momo then quizzes Rokuro about the chest device she glimpsed, but he deflects by asking whether she has ever confessed love to anyone. Later, wheeling Rokuro home on a cart, she is flagged down by Chiquitita and told her friends were attacked, and she arrives to find them resting in poor condition.
