Summary

Aira vows payback while Jiji clumsily echoes her and earns a kick. Under Mantisian's care, Momo is glad to see them recovering, though Aira complains they are far from fine and blames the Evil Eye for the defeat. Mantisian advises Momo to rest, estimating her wounds will mend in about six hours, and she puzzles over the cushion devices on her broken arm, which he admits he does not fully understand. When Aira asks after Seiko, Momo explains her grandmother is away on a Hokkaido business trip and unreachable without a phone, leaving the group anxious about the next attack.

Key Events

Jiji notes the Evil Eye only wants to fight Okarun because of their contract. The mention of Bamora sparks conflict: Aira gloats about distrusting her, while Jiji defends Bamora, arguing she could not have exposed her own identity since she does not speak their language and the enemy may have spoken to her imperfectly. Momo argues back until Okarun, awake, asks them to make peace. Reassured his friends are alive, he apologizes for losing his kintama, and Momo vows to win it back. When he falls silent, Mantisian calms a panicking Momo and reinserts the life support cord, revealing he had removed it only so Okarun could speak. Outside, Momo presents the torsoless Rokuro to the others and announces she intends to use him. Told of the stolen kintama, Rokuro concludes the enemies are outer space globalists set on invading Earth with a main force, intending to power their assault with Okarun's kintama. A glimpse of that fleet is shown in space.
