Tabito Karasu, nicknamed the Assassin, ranks among Blue Lock's sharpest tacticians, a defensive midfielder whose analytical mind lets him unpick a rival's flow. He anchored France's Paris X Gen through the Neo Egoist League and earned a place on the reborn Japan U-20 squad.
A mole sits just beneath Karasu's left eye, a small marker on an otherwise lean, sharp face. He is tall, and his dark purple hair spikes outward in jagged clumps, paler violet running through the back while a raised, pompadour-style tuft juts up at the front. His eyes are a cool blue.
Across the project he cycles through many kits: the standard black bodysuit with grey striping and its matching tracksuit, Team Red's number sixty-nine during the Second Selection, and Team B's white sixty-nine in the round that followed. Only once the clash with Japan's U-20 side arrives does he pull on the official Blue Lock uniform, long-sleeved and gloved with the number six. Paris X Gen's sleeved strip and later the Japan U-20 colours round out his wardrobe.
Karasu carries open contempt for anyone he judges to be ordinary, and his tongue is quick and cutting, sparing neither allies nor rivals a jab. He keeps a constant read on his surroundings and likes to steer a match by his own rules, needling teammates and opponents alike until events bend the way he wants. When even a minor detail slips, he grumbles, so others often take him for a chronic complainer.
That edge becomes genuine command on defence. During the Japan U-20 game he coordinated the backline aloud, directing players such as Yo Hiori and Kenyu Yukimiya and squeezing out every legal advantage, at one point pressing the referee to book Ryusei Shido for a stray kick that struck Rin Itoshi's face.
Beneath the swagger, Karasu privately brands himself mediocre. Hunting the flaws of others and mocking them served as armour, a way to keep anyone from spotting his own doubts. He is painfully conscious of his limits yet holds real admiration for those he sees as exceptional, which is why he clicks so well with Eita Otoya. The irony is that this ruthless self-awareness is exactly what sets him apart.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Karasu's calling card is his tactical shrewdness. He hunts a team's weakest link and hammers his play against that point to wreck the opposition's rhythm, a gift so pronounced that Ego installed him as the defensive midfielder and beating pulse of the Blue Lock Eleven. Reading the Japan U-20 backline, he mapped their likely responses and set up Otoya and Hyoma Chigiri to crack it open for a goal, and he knows when to stall against a threat like Sae Itoshi and when to surge forward as an extra outlet.
His touch is just as prized. By gauging the gap between himself and a marker, he walls the ball off with his body and arms, seizing possession or slipping past. He layers this with brutal feints, faking carelessness before yanking the ball clear or tipping an opponent's balance with his hands, tricks that let him beat two defenders at once and hold off three. He can also serve as a pivot, shielding runners so a teammate can shoot.
Late in the Bastard München fixture he unlocked Metavision, an elevated field awareness that drinks in every player and position through central and peripheral sight; he claimed it by reading and blocking Isagi's Two-Gun Volley. He also reaches Flow, the fully absorbed zone state, having done so as far back as the Second Selection, later engineering a goal for Hiori without Isagi by bowing his head between two defenders to carve out a sliver of a shooting lane.
