Denka

Denka's fur is mostly a pale brown, broken by darker patches that mark his ears, cheeks, paws, and the length of his tail, a look odd enough that Suigetsu at first mistook him and Hina for talking tanuki. He dresses in a plain blue kimono over mesh armour, cinched by a white sash, and the kanji for shinobi sits on his forehead.

By and large Denka keeps an even, agreeable temper, though he flatly refuses to be treated as anyone's pet. Little of his fighting skill has ever appeared, but Sasuke Uchiha warns that whoever is rash enough to provoke him and Hina risks ending up a scratching post.

When Sasuke and his Hebi team reach the aging supply base of the Uchiha, the two cats greet the group warmly at the door, glad for his return. Suigetsu, however, paws at them as though they were ordinary house cats, and an affronted Denka answers with a hiss. After Sasuke cautions Suigetsu about the pair and lays out why he has come, Denka and Hina ferry the group along to Nekobaa and Tamaki so everyone can gather supplies. Outside the story itself, Denka and Hina take their names from real cats owned by Junko Takeuchi, the Japanese voice of Naruto Uzumaki, and a Stuffed Denka Doll turns up as a customisation item in Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
