History
Gardner debuts among the SPK's charter agents. After the Mafia pries a Death Note out of the Japanese Task Force's grip, he and most of the squad fall to fatal heart attacks. Relight 2 reworks this: Kiyomi Takada passes the agents' photographs and names to Mikami, who reads Gardner's real name via his Shinigami eyes and sets it down. The same retelling files him as Ellickson Guardner yet reveals his true name to be Ellickson Tohmas.
