Hinatsuru is a kunoichi and one of the three wives of the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. A trained shinobi who fights alongside the Demon Slayer Corps, she plays a key support role during the battle in the Entertainment District.
Hinatsuru is of roughly average height, with a slim yet curved figure, pale skin, and long black hair she usually ties back into a ponytail. Her violet eyes are large and almond-shaped, framed by fine lashes, and a beauty mark sits below her left eye, lending her a soft, gentle look.
She wears a short, sleeveless lavender dress with a darker square pattern and a low neckline, cinched with a reddish-violet sash that holds her kunai. Brown fishnet socks reach her thighs above sandals with purple straps. After retiring she switches to a more modest lavender kimono with a white underlayer and a fuchsia obi.
Hinatsuru is gentle, composed, and honest, the calm center among her co-wives. Though only a little older than Makio and Suma, she carries herself with far more maturity and often steps in to settle their quarrels, including reassuring Makio about Tengen's unconventional outlook.
She frequently anchors Tengen emotionally in ways the other two cannot. Her serenity does have limits, and she grows genuinely furious when her co-wives bicker while their husband lies dying of Gyutaro's poison. Like the others she is fond of Tanjiro for his crucial help in Yoshiwara, offering him encouragement and wishing him well against Muzan.
Hinatsuru has no superhuman powers, but her upbringing as a kunoichi makes her a capable fighter. She wields the kunai skillfully and performs acrobatic maneuvers well beyond an ordinary person, recovering from poison only hours after taking an antidote and leaping clear of Daki's obi with notable speed.
Her ninjutsu training gives her solid agility and weapon handling, yet without a Breathing Style she can be overwhelmed by demons, so she relies on tools built to counter them. Among her equipment are standard kunai, a large crossbow used to slow Gyutaro's regeneration, and wisteria-laced kunai potent enough to paralyze ordinary demons for half a day and even hinder the Twelve Kizuki. She first appears in Chapter 71 and Episode 35.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
