Daki is one of the central antagonists of the Entertainment District Arc. A demon of the Twelve Kizuki, she holds the rank of Upper Six together with her elder brother Gyutaro. Born over a century earlier as a human girl named Ume in the poorest corner of Yoshiwara, she now hides among the courtesans as a celebrated oiran.
As a demon, Daki is a tall, striking woman with very pale skin, lime green eyes ringed with dark orange centers, and long lashes. Her hair runs from white at the roots to lime green at the tips, though she often keeps it black while in disguise. The kanji marking her as an Upper Rank and the figure six are engraved in her eyes, and flower-shaped demon crests sit on her cheek and forehead. She favors revealing two-piece kimono, tall geta sandals, and a patterned obi that doubles as a weapon. Beneath her oiran persona she conceals her crests, alters her eyes, and adopts the elaborate hairstyle and makeup expected of a top courtesan. In her original human form she was a thin, ragged girl with disheveled white hair and blue eyes.
Daki is arrogant, cruel, and openly sadistic, delighting in tormenting victims and feeling no remorse for the lives she takes. She dismisses anyone below Hashira level as beneath her notice and grows furious when looked at or addressed by those she scorns. Despite living more than a hundred years, she behaves like a spoiled child, throwing tantrums, weeping when thwarted, and lashing out verbally and physically at those who displease her. This makes sense given that she was transformed at thirteen and, at her core, never truly grew up. She harbors a deep terror of fire after being burned alive as a human. Toward the Demon King she is meekly devoted, and toward her brother she shows genuine, fierce love, refusing to part from him even at the very end.
As the secondary holder of Upper Six, Daki is enormously powerful, having devoured seven Hashira in the past. Her Blood Demon Art produces flower-patterned obi sashes grown from her own flesh, soft as silk yet able to cut like a Nichirin blade. She wields them as fast, far-reaching whips, weaving them into shields, storing trapped humans inside them, and even creating independent sentient sashes to guard her hidden food store. When she disperses her power through the city the sashes weaken her, but reabsorbing them restores her full strength and speed. After Gyutaro implants one of his eyes in her forehead, the two can share senses and coordinate their attacks, sharply raising their combined output. She also possesses immense regeneration, and because she shares a body with Gyutaro, she cannot be killed by decapitation unless he is beheaded at the same moment.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
