Summary

Falling through the castle, Tanjiro finds gravity and direction warped and suspects it is Muzan's Blood Demon Art. Aware that Tamayo cannot hold the Demon King for long, he resolves to reach Muzan quickly. Giyu catches him before he hits the bottom, and the two cut down a horde of demons together with coordinated Water Breathing forms, Tanjiro marveling at how precisely Giyu reads his movements.

Elsewhere, Obanai lands and clears the demons swarming Mitsuri, then advances with her. Gyomei and Muichiro press on as well, with Gyomei judging each common demon to be roughly as strong as a Lower Rank, their purpose being to exhaust the slayers. Told that Kagaya died with dignity as bait, Muichiro recalls the leader staying by his bedside and swears to make Muzan suffer. Sanemi, alone and weeping over his failure to protect Kagaya, dares the surrounding demons to come at him. Inosuke and Genya each fight through the halls separately, and Zenitsu presses on alone. Finally, Shinobu opens a door onto a room of bloody corpses and meets Doma, who eyes her hungrily.
