Summary

Pressing deeper into the Infinity Castle, Tanjiro and Giyu learn that Muichiro and Genya have died. Grieving yet resolute, Tanjiro forces himself onward, troubled that Senjuro's letter revealed the Hinokami Kagura holds thirteen forms while he knows only twelve. Kiriya realizes time has run out for the slayers to reach Muzan before he recovers, and warns the first arriving squad to wait for the Hashira rather than engage.

The squad ignores him and tries to cut down the cocoon. It splits open, and a transformed Muzan bursts free, killing the fighters in a swift, brutal flurry before they can react.
