The thirty-second chapter shows the Mother of the Spider Family's peaceful passing and reveals the demon clan's true nature. Meanwhile, Zenitsu wanders the forest and runs into the Son of the Spider Family, who claims Zenitsu is already doomed.
As she is slain, Mother feels as though a soft rain falls over her, free of any pain. She recalls being injured by the hulking Father for no clear reason, with Rui coldly insisting the fault was hers. Other members of the spider clan watched the abuse from the trees, painting a picture of a fractured, fearful family. Looking into Tanjiro's eyes, Mother sees only honest kindness and remembers that someone once regarded her that way when she was human. Grateful for the gentle death, she warns Tanjiro that members of the Twelve Kizuki are present on the mountain.
Tanjiro is stunned. He understands that Kizuki carry concentrated amounts of Muzan's blood, which he needs to find a cure for Nezuko. He hurries back to Inosuke, who boasts that he is unharmed even as Tanjiro is troubled by the depth of his wounds and saddened that he could not save the captured Slayers. Reflecting on Mother's overwhelming scent of fear, Tanjiro wonders why so many demons gather here, since demons normally do not form groups.
Elsewhere, Zenitsu searches for his comrades, repelled by the forest's stench and the noise of spiders. He turns to find a spider with a human head and flees in terror. He stumbles into a clearing strung with webs holding a suspended house and Demon Slayers slowly turning into spiders. A giant Spider Demon emerges and tells Zenitsu he has already lost. When Zenitsu denies it, the demon points to his swollen, bruised hand, explaining that a spider's bite will soon transform him.
The chapter establishes that Mother and Rui belong to a larger family of spider-like demons. Mother's dying words confirm that the Twelve Kizuki are present on Mount Natagumo, raising the stakes for Tanjiro's mission.
Zenitsu encounters the Son of the Spider Family and learns he has been bitten and poisoned. The confrontation sets up the fight between Zenitsu and the Son of the Spider Family.
Part of the Mount Natagumo Arc, this chapter was adapted across Episodes 16 and 17 of the anime. It bridges the end of the Mother fight and the beginning of Zenitsu's ordeal.
The flashback to the spider clan's mistreatment foreshadows the truth about Rui and the false bonds he forces upon the other demons.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
