A transitional compilation feature from Ufotable joining the last two episodes of the second season with the premiere of the third. It launched in Japan in early 2023 and toured internationally as a world tour event.
This release bundles the final two episodes of the second television season alongside the opening episode of the third, presenting them together for theaters. Ufotable produced the feature under director Haruo Sotozaki, drawing on Koyoharu Gotoge's manga.
It opened in Japan on February 3, 2023, with international screenings arriving the following month. The film was promoted as a world tour, playing in several countries over the course of the year. Aimer performed the opening theme Zankyosanka, while Man With A Mission and Milet supplied the ending theme Kizuna no Kiseki.
After his family is killed, the gentle Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps with the aim of returning his sister Nezuko to human form. Together with his companions Zenitsu and Inosuke, and supported by the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, he is drawn into a mission in the Entertainment District, where the group confronts the Upper Rank Six siblings Daki and Gyutaro.
Once that battle is over, Muzan Kibutsuji gathers the remaining Upper Ranks. In the weeks that follow, Tanjiro travels to the Swordsmith Village to collect a replacement blade, accompanied by a familiar ally and two more Hashira, Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji. While there, he learns more about his Hinokami Kagura technique and encounters a strangely familiar figure who appears in his dreams.
Like the other bridging compilations, the feature drew its content from broadcast episodes and chiefly served to connect the second and third seasons while previewing the new season for cinema audiences. The world tour format carried it to viewers in numerous countries during its run. The cast included Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro, Akari Kito as Nezuko, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Tengen Uzui.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
