Zach Aguilar

Aguilar voices Tanjiro Kamado, the central hero of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, in the series' English-language dub of the Ufotable production. The role places him at the front of one of the most widely watched anime of its era and stands among the signature parts of his career, alongside other leading-man performances that have come to define his work in dubbing.

Born on February 21, 1998, Aguilar has worked since 2014 on English dubs of Japanese anime and on video games. His first prominent role came as Genos in One Punch Man, after which he took on a string of leads including Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer, Koichi Hirose in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Arthur Pendragon in The Seven Deadly Sins, and David Martinez in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. In video games his credits include Byleth Eisner in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Aether in Genshin Impact, Espresso Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom, Campanella in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, and Calem in Pokémon Masters.

Aguilar's performance as David Martinez in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners earned the award for Best Voice Artist Performance (English) at the 7th Crunchyroll Anime Awards. With the win he became the first member of Generation Z to receive the honor, a distinction that underscored his rise among a younger wave of English-language voice talent.
