Khan

Broad through the shoulders and plainly strong, Khan cuts a larger figure than most would expect from a man who trims hair for a living. His skin is brown, his hair black, and his lips full, features the series links to the Egyptians of his home region.

Work is the only setting he appears in, dressed in his trade's plain light blue tunic topped by a small cap that sits atop the crown of his head.

Little of his character is spelled out, though he shows clear curiosity and seems to admire fine blades. Asked to keep the sword safe while Polnareff settles into the chair, he cannot resist drawing it, taken by how beautiful and finely made it looks, with no notion of the malice waiting inside.

Polnareff arrives for a shave and hands over Anubis, asking the barber to set it aside before he begins. Assuming it a plain weapon, Khan slides the blade free and is taken over at once, turning on his customer.

Because Anubis had already crossed swords with Polnareff during the earlier clash with Chaka, the possessed barber parried nearly everything thrown at him. Jotaro stepped in to rescue his friend, snapped the Anubis Sword in two, and left Khan knocked out cold.
