Kenji Utsumi

Utsumi lent his voice to numerous long-running anime, including Raoh and Kaioh in Fist of the North Star, Senbei Norimaki in Dr. Slump, and Shenlong and Commander Red in the Dragon Ball franchise. His career as a Japanese voice actor spanned from 1955 until his death in 2013.

Kenji Utsumi was a Japanese actor and voice actor active from 1955 until his death in 2013, and the founder of the Ken Production talent agency. He received a lifetime achievement award at the Seiyu Awards for his decades of work in the industry.

Utsumi voices Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist, one of the many memorable supporting and villain roles across his long career in anime. He also worked extensively as a Japanese dubbing voice for Hollywood actors including Jack Nicholson and Steve McQueen.

Utsumi voices Coach Kamogawa in Hajime no Ippo, another of the veteran character roles that defined his decades-long anime career. He remained active in the industry until his death in 2013.

In the 1993 original video animation adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Utsumi voices Daniel J. D'Arby, the gambling Stand user the Joestar group faces during the Stardust Crusaders storyline. It was one of many memorable villain and supporting roles he took on during his career at Ken Production, the agency he founded.
