Overview

Evangelion Mark.11 fights in Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time as one of the surviving Adams, holding mastery over the NHG Erbsünde. Its body follows the standard Vessels of the Adams template in blue and black, with a single line added left of the face mask so the markings read XI, and a small SEELE crest on the forehead. The blue decals echo the Erbsünde's own, a color linked to Death among the Horsemen of Viktor Vasnetsov's 1887 painting, and the scheme also loosely recalls the refitted Unit-00'.

Role

No A.T. Field protects the Mark.11; it rides a self-generated halo to levitate and opens its mask to project beams of light. It appears beside Mark.10 and Mark.12 atop the giant crystals of the NHG Erlösung as the three vessels box in Unit-08γ. Once Mark.10 is devoured, the Mark.11 and Mark.12 dive at their enemy together, but the empowered Unit-08γ, its lost arm regrown through the absorbed vessel, projects an A.T. Field shaped like an eight-eyed tiger and bites the Mark.11 in half. The field's color shifts from pink to blue as only the vessel's legs fall away. That remnant vanishes for good inside Unit-08γ as part of the Final Evangelion.

Notable Members

Its pilot comes from the Advanced Ayanami Series, the clone line seated in all four Adams vessels. The Mark.11 operates in concert with the Mark.09-A, Mark.10 and Mark.12, each unit bound as master to one of NERV's four warships during the final campaign.
