It wears the shared Vessels of the Adams design in silver and black, with two lines added left of the mask to complete the Roman numeral XII and the small SEELE emblem on its brow. Its white decals correspond to its warship's markings, a color tied to Conquest among the Horsemen of Viktor Vasnetsov's 1887 painting.

The Mark.12 lacks an A.T. Field, hovering instead on a projected halo and firing beams of light from behind its opening mask. It gathers with Mark.10 and Mark.11 on the Erlösung's crystal peaks to trap Unit-08γ, but after watching both companions get devoured and overlapped, it visibly cowers in a defensive posture. The film never shows its end; Unit-08γ simply reappears bearing four halos, proof that the Mark.12 has been absorbed as well, then turns the vessels' pooled beam power on NERV's three ships and sinks them. Its trace disappears inside Unit-08γ with the Final Evangelion.
