Honoka Sawada

At 150 cm, Sawada stands roughly a head below Miyamura when the two walk alongside Hori, and the resemblance between her and Miyamura is striking. Her black hair falls to her waist, split by a central fringe with loose strands framing each cheek, and a small mole sits beneath her left eye. Her eyes are a blue-grey shade.

Day to day she wears the school uniform with her shirt tucked in and grey Converse, keeping gym shorts on under her skirt as the older girls do.

Sawada clings hard to Kyōko Hori and bristles whenever Miyamura is near her, shoving him aside and treating him as a rival for Hori's attention even as she also sees something brotherly in him. She was devoted to her late older brother.

Adult men unsettle her deeply, a mild androphobia that leaves her freezing, fleeing, or hiding when one comes close, though knowing Miyamura has slowly eased her around his male friends. Introverted and slow to bond with classmates, she stays wary of Shu Iura's loud, outgoing manner and spooks easily, once retreating to the Miyamura home when her own house grew unnerving after dark.

Miyamura and Kyōsuke Hori both remark on how much she resembles Kyōko when she debuts in Chapter 29, the same chapter that establishes she is gay, making her the series' only openly gay character. Later material also confirms her dislike of anything frightening.
