The opening arc of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, covering the anime's first fifteen episodes. It follows Boruto's earliest days at the Academy in the wake of the Nue crisis, while the fate of Sumire and stirrings among distant enemies quietly set the wider story in motion.
Serving as the debut arc of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, this stretch runs across the anime's first fifteen episodes and gives way afterward to the Sarada Uchiha Arc. It has also gone by the Academy Arc and the Ghost Incident, and it centers on Boruto Uzumaki settling into life at the Academy as Nue stirs up disturbances throughout Konohagakure. The same events were later retold across three tie-in light novels, each covering its own block of episodes.
Weeks on from the Nue incident, Boruto finds that his strange eye no longer switches on. At Senju Park, Naruto, Sai, and Shikamaru weigh in on Sumire, and at the Academy Shino tells his class she will sit out ninja practice for a time. He has the students split into trios, pairing Ino-Shika-Chō together and prompting Boruto to team up with Mitsuki and Metal. Worried for Sumire, Shino offers Iruka to take charge of her, then visits her cell to reassure her. The next day the trios spar, and while Shino slips off to fetch Sumire, Boruto's group clashes with Shikadai's, a match that ends with the training scaffolds crashing down and Boruto claiming the win.
Sumire returns to a welcoming classroom once Shino brings her back. That night a shadow clone of Naruto passes Sasuke intelligence on the Gozu Tennō, and before parting Sasuke asks him to relay an apology to Sakura. Far above, Toneri keeps watch for approaching gods, while Kinshiki warns Momoshiki of irregularities tied to Kaguya, and the two ready themselves to set out for the Earth.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
