Bug is an aging Outer of the Kara organization and a devotee of Boro's Otsutsuki cult. Greedy, jittery, and fond of drink, he ends up guarding the imprisoned Ada and gets swept into Code's schemes, a path that leads him to a grim, tree-bound fate.
Small in stature and well into old age, Bug sports a lengthy beard and a mouth missing several teeth, a few of them courtesy of Daemon's blows. His outfit resembles an aviator's gear, topped by a black cloak draped across the shoulders.
Fear seems to drive most of Bug's obedience. He served Boro faithfully, yet showed little shock at news of his master's death and readily doubted whether it was even true. A mercenary streak runs through him, since he expects coin for any favor and resents taking orders, silently mocking Ada even as he obeys her. His timid nature keeps his infatuation with her far milder than most men suffer.
Wary of the reckless ambitions of Code and Ada, he repeatedly tries to slip away and distance himself from the reborn Kara. When the siblings turn on Code, he quickly betrays them by exposing the ceiling on Daemon's reflecting power. He is also a heavy drinker, emptying cups while Code manufactures Claw Grimes.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Bug joins the covert society Kara and falls under the Inner known as Boro, which folds him into the Otsutsuki cult as well. Ordered to eliminate Ada, Boro is instead overwhelmed by her allure and hides her away, posting Bug as her keeper, and her power soon ensnares him too. When Code raids the base, he informs Bug that both Jigen and Boro are gone and demands to be led to Ada, a request Bug grants only for a fee. Code shatters her pod before Bug can finish his warning. After Ada wakes and forges an alliance with Code, Bug is blocked from leaving and pressed into rousing her brother Daemon, who promptly tackles and headbutts him, and Code later drags him through his Claw Marks to demonstrate the technique.
Later he watches the group seize Amado and force him to strip away Code's limiters. Hoping the two will destroy one another, Bug exposes the weakness in Daemon's reflecting ability, but Code survives and hauls him off to the Ten-Tails' enclosure, where he looks on, drinking and full of regret, as Code carves the beast into more than a thousand Claw Grimes. During the three-year gap that follows, a Claw Grime consumes Bug and binds him alive within a tree, giving rise to the Human God Tree Mamushi, built to hunt Ada. After Mamushi falls in Konoha and Boruto claims its Thornsoul Bulb, Code conceals himself inside a Claw Mark on Bug's tree and ambushes Boruto as the boy tries to free the old man. The attack fails, the bulb rots, and Bug finally dies.
