Appearance

Ada wears her blue hair long, curling into loops at the ends and threaded with pink, and a small beauty mark sits below the outer corner of each turquoise eye. Those eyes are unusual in themselves, their dark centres ringed by crescent shapes that bend to one side. Her wardrobe leans celestial: a white turtleneck with wide bishop sleeves, turquoise wrist bands, and dark shorts printed with stars, a moon, and a ringed planet, finished with shooting-star earrings, paired rings, pink polish on her nails and toes, blue mascara, and black heeled sandals decorated with crescents.

Some three years on from Boruto's departure, she switches to a yellow crop top that bares one shoulder, keeps the same flared sleeves, and adds a pendant necklace bearing a crescent and a tiny star, keeping her other accessories, dark shorts, and blue-heeled sandals. When she calls on the Senrigan, the white of her left eye darkens and takes on a crescent design, expanding in the anime into a swirling, galaxy-like pattern.

Personality

On the surface Ada is icy and detached, worn down into boredom by a life she never chose. Since nearly everyone falls instantly under her sway and cannot bring themselves to oppose her, she finds genuine resistance oddly entertaining, even as anyone who actively wishes her harm leaves her badly shaken. Underneath the indifference she is deeply lonely, longing for real companionship rather than mindless adoration, and her single greatest wish is to be loved for herself.

That hunger draws her to both Kawaki and Boruto, the rare people her power cannot touch, though she brushes Boruto aside as too young and settles her heart on Kawaki, growing flustered and blushing whenever the prospect of meeting him arises. For a woman so composed she is bitterly resentful toward Amado, blaming the scientist who gave her the very allure that robbed her of authentic affection. She calls combat barbaric, keeps most of her relationships coldly transactional, and openly threatens Code with death should he stop being useful to her.

Cruelty, however, is not her nature. She keeps her word, admits when she has wronged someone, and feels real guilt over the harm her power causes, at one point apologising to Boruto for casting him as Konoha's enemy and promising never to spy on him again. Over time the pragmatic loner even forms bonds she treasures, clinging to Sarada and Sumire once she accepts that their friendship is truly her own doing rather than a trick of her enchantment.

Abilities

Like every member of Kara, Ada was rebuilt by Amado using Scientific Ninja Tools and cells taken from Shibai Ōtsutsuki. She insists her own fighting is limited to basic taijutsu, yet Amado rated her combat potential well above Jigen's, and she herself believed she could kill a fully unleashed Code. The infusion also lets her drift and fly through the air at will.

From Shibai's DNA she awakened the Senrigan that sits behind her left eye, a clairvoyant power that lets her witness anything unfolding anywhere across every dimension, along with events already past, stretching all the way back to her own birth. Its reach stops only at the spiritual and mental realms. This all-seeing sight makes her an unmatched source of intelligence, though certain God Tree beings later prove able to sense when she is watching them.

Her most notorious gift is an involuntary enchantment: any person who looks upon her face, man or woman alike, is instantly captivated and rendered unable to harm her or refuse her wishes, with only blood relatives and fellow Ōtsutsuki immune. Fighting the effect for too long brings on dizziness, fever, and eventually brain damage, yet indirect methods, the Shadow Imitation Technique among them, can still work against her. She cannot switch the power off, and it endures until her death; Shikamaru judged that she could seize the whole world with it if she wished. In truth the allure is one expression of the Shinjutsu known as Omnipotence, which surfaces her deepest longing, a genuine love she can never consciously command because she is not a true Ōtsutsuki.
